Sheet Cladding
Cladding is available in metal
and man made sheet materials. Metals used for cladding include
coated steel and aluminium, and the patinated metals such as
copper and Cor-ten (copper steel alloy). Coated sheets are generally
profiled for strength and are also available as composite panels
with internal linings. Lead is also
used for cladding roofs and walls.
Manmade materials are more
diverse and often known by trade names -Trespa, Glasal etc. These
are largely made by compressing inert materials together under
high pressure
You may find some of the manufacturers
listed below are addressing the more commercial/ industrial end
of the construction market.
